Birth Debriefing

You thought you would be moving forward by now, but what happened in birth is still affecting you.

Your birth may have left you shaken and deeply overwhelmed. But birth trauma isn't only about what happened. It's about what's still happening.

The impact that it has on your relationships. Your bond with your child or the strain on your relationship with your partner.

It shows up in your parenting. In the second guessing and the lack of confidence. The constant worry you are getting something wrong.

It's there in the moments of anger and rage. The grief you feel about what unfolded. And the moments that you keep replaying over in your head.

Birth debriefing offers you a space to process your birth story and finally move forward.

Individuals and couples welcome.

Counselling

If you are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and stretched thin then counselling offers you a space to create change.

It's place to finally express the guilt, frustration, resentment, rage, sadness, anxiety and grief that you feel, without having to pretend like you are okay.

Every week, I hear from women who feel exactly like you do right now, quietly struggling and unsure where to start.

Together we can explore ways to ease the pressure, quiet the self-doubt and help you find yourself in motherhood.

Individuals and couples welcome.

About Me

Hi, I'm Bec. I'm a perinatal and maternal mental health nurse, a counsellor and a mum.

For over a decade, I've walked alongside women as they navigate motherhood in all it's complexity. And supported them with everything from grief and loss, identity shifts, parenting challenges, relationship strain, birth trauma, self-doubt, perfectionism, anxiety and depression.

After experiencing my own traumatic birth, I found healing through birth debriefing and counselling. This experience not only shaped my experience of motherhood, but also the way I support others.

Everyday, I feel deeply honoured to do this work. It's a unique privilege to offer a space for women to be truly seen and heard. And to witness their growth and healing.
